A Truly Traditional Order

I have given George time off from his Inquisitor role so he can work more on the organ. We have found more dastardly heretical interwebsites, some of which have tried to escape our wrath with the use of latin, but to no avail:
Wherefore in the name of God the All-powerful, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, of the Blessed Peter, Prince of the Apostles, and of all the saints, in virtue of the power which has been given us in binding and loosing in Heaven and on earth, we deprive them and all their accomplices and all their abettors of the Communion of the Body and Blood of Our Lord, we separate them from the society of all Christians, we exclude them from the bosom of our Holy Mother the Church in Heaven and on earth, we declare them excommunicated and anathemized and we judge them condemned to eternal fire with Satan and all his angels and all the reprobate, so long as they will not burst the fetters of the demon, do penance and satisfy the Church; we deliver them to Satan to mortify their bodies, that their souls may be saved on the day of judgement.

But do not fret, Truly Traditional! There is a new order of vocations whose mission is to spread the Truthy Truth to all nations and to slay the apostates in its wake! The Holy Knights of The Truly True Church! I encourage everyone who has a son who feels called to the priesthood (or even if they don't!) to consider talking with the vocations director, Sir Rev. Feeney.

Thank ye, Fr. Chadwick, for drawing attention to our new vocations drive. As the above list of excommunicate websites show, the Modernist heresy grows ever more pernicious in these dark days before the Apocalypse. To beat down the apostate scum, we must have plenty of holy knight-monks to throw in calvary charges against the apostates. Wave after wave of bloody, pointless attrition may be needed in the holy war to come.

Join me, Truly Traditional men! Strap on the helm of self-righteousness, the armor of indignation, and the sword of Truthiness and ride into battle with the HKTTC to beat down the heretics and restore our glorious Truly True Church's rightful dominion over the whole world!

Do ye want to live as cowards, cowering in out-of-the-way churches and letting the Modernists spread their heresy from the glorious cathedrals that are rightfully ours? Or will ye lift the sword, climb on thy mount, and live as men, Truly Traditional men? Cower no longer--stand tall and proud! Ye are the TRULY TRUE CATHOLICS, and the Truthiness is on OUR SIDE!! The Modernists make take away our lives, but they will never take away our TRULY TRUE CHURCH!!!!

Excommunicated? How could this happen? I have a whole post on my blog about The Society of St Pius I.

What would I have to do to be unexcummunicated? Perhaps posting a graphic to my blog declaring my status...like this one...would work as penance?

Christina,
Ye have designed an excellent heresy medallion. Indeed, I think it would a fitting show of initial contrition for the above apostate blog owners to post it on their blogs' sidebars.

Fr. Chadwick may feel otherwise, but I personally think that the truly repentant heretic would then engage in some heroic penance to prove his sorrow. I think 4 months as a Stylites would be a good beginning.

Cordially,
Sir Rev. Leonard Feeney, HKTTC

Great. Now--over and above my other worries--I have to watch out for henchmen in chain mail, who will arrive at my door on the pretext of selling beer. :)

I've had worse.

Christina - as the knight suggests, dost thou mindest if I use your badge on one of my blogs?

Who has given you the right to anathemize/excommunicate anyone? Are you the pope?

Sir Rev. Leonard Feeney, HKTTC said...

No, but he darn well should be!

Wait a tick...Fr. Chadwick, since we all know that the See is vacant, and there hasn't been a validly elected pope since St. Leo...do you think the members of the SSLI could elect you pope? I mean, it only seems to make sense!

Ye get my vote, and all the votes of the Knights!

You all flatter me greatly!

Right now I am focusing on running for Bishop, but perhaps I will start a Committee of Exploration to look into a possible papal bid.

Ooh, how does one get the honor of an excommunication from this society?

I feel sorry for you guys. But what can you do?

Hidden one,

Sorry I've been out looking for a comfy 1 bedroom pillar. No luck so far, but I have found a nice tower.

You are more than welcome to use the badge I designed. I'm working on making another in shades of blue, then it wouldn't clash so horribly with my page.
